Visitors, strangers, memory, shifting traces of history: reimagined encounters flow through Meretoto – Manuhiri (visitors). The exhibition includes works fresh from our 7th trip to Meretoto/Ship Cove in five years, taking New Zealand artists to respond to this place of the most sustained contact between Maori and James Cook, 250 years on.
