Including works released from the Binney Estate Collection; exquisite drawings and fine art prints of his significant places and celebrated birds, marking the publication of the major book Don Binney – Flight Path by Gregory O’Brien (Auckland University Press). Most works are available to collectors.
A panel discussion marking the South Island book launch will be held on 18 November at the new Marlborough Art Gallery in Blenheim, where a separate exhibition celebrates Don Binney’s association with Marlborough during the time he exhibited at The Diversion Gallery. (Until 26 November).
