A significant earlier woodblock & lithograph featuring distinctive Feu’u motifs relating to ancient Lapita pottery – the kissing fish, the long-nosed god, the gogo (ancestor spirits/guardian angels), the frangipani/leaf forms indicating new life. We have included this in the exhibition to mark the rare honour of Arts Foundation Icon just awarded to Fatu Feu’u.
