The Blue Cross

One of only three Cross paintings ever offered to collectors, inspired by light on the water, and in the landscape. Parker saw the cross as representing ‘an intersection, a station, a crossroads. Although recognising the cross as an archetypal symbol, his intent was to ‘put a feeling of the landscape inside it’.
