From drawings in Vincent’s pocket

The painting is something of a homage to Van Gogh, one of Seyb’s artistic heroes. Drawings were reputedly found in Van Gogh’s pocket when he died, and Seyb decided to work from two of these images, rendering the drawings into paint, as a tribute to Vincent.
